In New York City, Allison's performances are fixtures at top jazz venues, including Dizzy's, Smalls Jazz Club, and The Jazz Standard. His international and national performances have seen him share the stage with luminaries like Rodney Whitaker and Jazzmeia Horn. Leading his groups, Allison's work features original compositions that draw from a rich palette of R&B, country, and gospel influences, reflecting his deep roots in the black church and the iconic sounds of Earth, Wind & Fire, and Stevie Wonder that underscored his upbringing.
